About "Republic" and "Democracy"
Yes, this again.
About 90% of the time that I see people try to give separate definitions for “republic” and “democracy” it’s not sincere at all - it’s part of a decades-long effort to oppose democracy in the US while pretending to align with US political culture, which has always been strongly pro-democracy.1
Well, either that or it’s people who have been mis-educated by…
