Trump is far far worse on every measure but not sure you get to go with "I'm not that interested in Tapper/Biden" as a path to avoid it.

That no matter how awful the other guys are does not get our side off the hook. I strongly disagree with "nothing to see here" approach. One of many examples

. . . https://www.bostonglobe.com/2025/05/18/nation/joe-biden-age-legacy-book-wheelchair/ "Those who cannot remember the past are doomed to repeat it."

To me, Tapper is an apologist for the MSM who said Biden is old and you should worry about it — until too many of us did. He touts that as worse than Trump, while making big bucks, thanks to his MSM colleagues. Honest disagreement.

While not the president (but it almost was), people tend to have forgotten the Spiro Agnew scandal, where the VP was taking cash from contractors. Since this was happening during watergate where it was almost certain Nixon would resign or be impeached, there was a real fear that Agnew would become president and still be taking bribes.

Yes - and, again, one that Trump has easily surpassed. The thing about Agnew was that he was thought to be Nixon's impeachment insurance - since no one wanted Agnew as president - until, suddenly, he wasn't.

Also his addiction to sharing his — I don’t know, is “thoughts” too kind? — on social media is arguably as bad as drinking since it shows the primal mind in a way no sober person would want revealed. Can you imagine Nixon tweeting his drunken self pity at night from the Lincoln Sitting Room?

Trump is worse. Way worse. The whole world knows how his mind works and how to manipulate him.
